Weird things your cat eats

I used to have a rescue cat (sadly he died a few years ago) and he had some strange food tastes for a cat. He too loved corn on the cob, and after he'd eaten the corn he loved to chew for hours on the cob. He also loved Pringles and other crisps...but I think his favourite non-cat food was chocolate muffins. Every time I had fish & chips from the chip shop, I'd get a small extra portion of chips just for him (he was more interested in the chips than the fish), and he particularly loved those little hard bits of chip you get at the bottom of the bag. He wouldn't eat them unless they were smothered in salt & vinegar.

I have a cat with very strange tastes too. She loves string cheese! Whenever I eat it, she is sitting in my lap begging for it. I have to peel her little strips or I can't eat any myself. One for her, two for me, one for her, two for me.
Also, she loves Holiday Jingles, a christmas cookie with anise flavoring.

My kitten really loves fruits and vegetables, especially capsicum.
Whenever I am chopping things up on the kitchen bench, she will try to run by and steal something, and she actually pulled some capsicum (red) out of my ham and salad wrap a few days ago while I was holding it=P

It really isn't weird, but my Siamese cat, Murphy loves redi whip! She knows the sound of the can and goes nuts when I get it out of the fridge. I have to give her her own plate with a couple tablespoons worth of redi whip or else she won't leave me alone.

She isn't spoiled mind you. In the winter time, in the morning, she waits in my heated water bed for her warmed cream. Again it's about a tablespoon that I have to warm in the microwave for about 9 seconds before I take it in to her.

You know, come to think of it, I do spoil my animal companions!!! (LOL)

i used to have a corn cob eater too LOL.
poor thing had no teeth,she'd just gum it.
she'd also try to steal halls cough drops-i made my mother put those up.

the ones i have now will eat butter,mayo,orange juice,peas,cheese doodles,twinkie cream,black olives,
biscuits..it goes on.once in a while i'll let them have it,but not all the time.

My cats will eat pretty much anything that you toss them, much the same as the dog. I think that the more pets you have, and therefore the greater the competition for tidbits, the more likely they are to eat whatever comes their way. After all, if they don't then one of the others will and they won't want to feel that they're missing out LoL

the dogs really enjoy fruit, and one of them has been witnessed actually jumping up into the cherry tree in order to Harvest' the fresh fruit before we get to it!!

Moomin just loves chocolate sauce, he has been known to lap up a small bowl full of the stuff in the past.

I was peeling potatoes one night and a piece of the peel fell on the ground. My cat Isabella started to sniff it and then began chewing on it! Then my other cat Nigel (RIP Nigey) came up and thought it looked interesting so he tried to steal it out of Isabella's mouth! I let them fight over it and they both got a small portion each. However I realised that eating potato skins probably isn't the best thing for them so i didn't satisfy their potato skin cravings any further than that.

My aunty's cat loves potato chips and Cheezels.

I used to have a cat (years ago) that loved to eat broccoli and cheese and sometimes spaghetti. He loved his veggies too. He was a really good cat. My cat now loves bagels with cream cheese.

Our cat generally shuns people food of any kind, but there*are* a couple of things she can't resist. She likes tapica pudding and also vanilla pudding. We just give her a wee little bit of it at a time.

You got some interesting answers here that made me smile! I wonder how ours would react to Pringles or corn on the cob... I may have to give her a cob sometime.
