Nokia phones: Did you know the function of Auto-update of date and time?

That realy mucks up Jet lag, cant say wait ppl the time at home is xyz as you look at your watch/phone.

What a no go er, now I cant moan and complain about the travel....Bummer.

Not just international roaming cards. But Nokia models by default change the time. The latest models of Nokia opens and works even without a simcard. The phone updates the date and time automatically and yes, it is a real good feature.

this is the best feature also of nokia automatically adopt the time what place you are. Greenwich, England is the prime meridian means the time begin to this area.
hoping i can used this feature if i am going to go other place outside Philippines.

I dont know about that but when I travelled out of the country I still requested for the roaming feature of my phone. Next time Ill see if that is possible. Thanks for the information.

It would be better if Nokia will have 2 sets of time, one for home and one for the current country.

Most phones have a satellite clock in them now. My motorola phone has had this feature for over 4 years now, and it automatically adjusts to the time zone you are in.

We use Verizon as our provider. We don't use Sim cards with their phones. But, every phone we have had with them automatically changes time when you pass through a time zone. I first discovered it when I went on a bus tour. People were changing their watches to coincide with the time zone. I never changed mine since I found out that my phone had the correct time. And, immediately, when we crossed back over to our state and time zone, it changed back to our time.
