a perfect first date?

I don't really have any tricks for a first date. Just be yourself is the best thing you can do. I do sit down for a few minutes and think about things we might have in common to talk about, like cars, jobs, apartments, pets etc.

Just keeping the conversation going on a first date is scary, but if it flows well, both parties are much more comfortable.

Tricks? that sounds like you're trying to con someone. Perhaps trying to con them into a relationship, or just into liking you lol.

No tricks, to be honest, if you get on well the date should be fine. Wear something nice, so that you feel comfortable, go somewhere you both know, and where it will be possible to talk - and maybe even somewhere (like the cinema) which will give you something to talk about in case you are shy.

I don't try to appear best on my first date, not even the second the third or all my other dates.

number one i'm on a date to get to know a guy, and for him to get to know me too. So i don't think i need effort to be me so no need to try.

to appear best is not up to us. but for the beholder. so for me it's up to him what he thinks about me. the important part is that i would never ever lie about me because if i do, then i wasnt talking about me at all but somebody i have created in my fantasy world and i dont want to live in a fantasy.

if he likes me then good. if not then i cant do anything cause wut you see is wut you get.

I have never been on anything that I would call a "first date" but the day my boyfriend asked me out we went bowling. I think it is a good idea as it is fun, you can go with friends in case it is a little awkward and you can test the waters with celebratory hugs and see how they react.
