Agreement reached on incentives for Iran on nuclear program

Not trying to sound like I am out of touch with reality, but alot of countries have a nuclear program. Paskistan is a Muslim country right, we let them have nuclear weapons. I know that Iran is run by a lunatic, but so was the USSR. Did the USA and USSR destory themselves in a nuclear war, No. So why would Iran turn into a nuclear war. We should not bribe Iran into giving up its nuclear program. Nuclear weapons are just as much as a defense as an offensive weapon. They will not attack Israel because Israel has nuclear weapons. Both would be destoried.

I'm not so much for bribery either but I think it's a good thing if we at least TALK to them. I'm also of the mind that we seem to have a lot of nerve telling other countries they may or may not have nuclear weapons. I know I'll be told I'm naive - or WORSE - but think about it. Who do we think we are? I know we have to keep our guard up at all times and be able to defend ourselves but I think diplomacy is always the best way to go. The people of Iran are no different than the people of the U.S., England, France, Russia, Canada, or anywhere else in the world. They don't want to be attacked anymore than we do and I think the leaders of Iran are intelligent enough to know if they developed a nuclear weapon and used it they'd also be history.

Bribery won't stop them. All we need to do is place economic sanctions on them. Hopefully the rest of the world will go along. The people will rise up against the government.
Iran should never be allowed nuclear weapons under their present government.
