The longest cold & cough you have ever had? Who has suffered?  | |  Whats the longest cold or cough you have ever had? I got a nasty cold and cough and I have had it 8 days so far? Although there are signs of improvement, it is not improving that much and I still dont feel that great really. Plus the tickle as well when you are coughing your guts up. The doctor said mine is a viral infection that will just go in time. But my longest cough was a while back and I think it lasted about 2 months. It was a constant tickle in my throat. Even though you take all the medicines going the bug still hangs on to you.

| | | | | | 1.  sunkissed (2306) | 6 months ago |  Well I had a cold for 2 months and was taking medicine that the doctor told me to tak. cold medicine, caugh medicine everything. nothing was working. he gave me antibiotics they did not even work.I finally did get rid of the cold about 2 months ago but still have the cough. The doctor really does nothing about it, so I am just living with it. I guess I just have a cronic cough now.
