Id rather much be a zero that's welcome to other opportunities like the possibility of being another number rather than a 'one' that will always be stuck at one and nothing more. I guess it also gets kind fo lonely being a one and has more pressuer when you are chosen to be 'the one'(like Neo).
But in regards to the Matrix movie, Id rather be a rebel warrior fighting for a mission and know the real real truth rather than be a normal human being in the 'real' world always asking questions like 'why do I exist?' or somehting like that.
