As far as I know she's really the only one who didn't grow up "privileged" and probably had to ccok her share of meals.

3.  Rozie37 (6459) | 7 months ago |  I am going to have to say Barack Obama's wife, because I am assuming that she cooks the kind of food that I like to eat. You see, African American's love good food. Our homes are centered around the daily meals. This is where we connect as a family.
Everybody in the family can join in and make tradiional recipes. We have a really good time at the cook outs. It is like nothing I have ever experienced in any other culture. It is simply amazing. I know a good reason to call it "Soul Food." It just gets down in you and soothes your soul and makes you feel so good. If she can get down like that, then she is the best.

Michelle I'm betting is too professional to be a real good cook. Too much good food in Chicago, no need for her to be in the kitchen all the time.
Bill on the other hand with his time in Arkansas I'm betting has his cajun recipes and gumbo and is cooking up a storm as that type of food I'm betting is hard to find when he's on the road.

 anniepa (6369) | 7 months ago | That's exactly what I think. He's the only one I can actually picture standing at the grill saying "How do y'all like your steaks?" Or whipping up some scrambled eggs in the kitchen. I don't see him as a "gourmet" cook but rather the "real food" kind of cook, like you said cajun and gumbo. Of course, he was known to like his Mickey D's as well!
