| ding305 (3) | 3 months ago | Well, I don't think Imagine is a Beatles song...It's not included in the Beatles albums. I have 26 albums of the Beatles. Yes, it is written, composed and sung by John Lennon, but it's not a Beatles song...but simply a song of John Lennon, as a solo artist or a solo performer.

| ding305 (3) | 3 months ago | Really? Well, I was born yesterday...no, yesteryears I mean, during The Beatles era. Well, Yesterday, I think it's one the most popular song of The Beatles. It was originally recorded by the pop group for their album Help! in 1965. And according to the Guinness Book of Records, "Yesterday" has the most cover versions of any song ever written. The song remains popular today with more than 3000 recorded cover versions and it was voted the best song of the 20th century, in a 1999 BBC Radio 2 poll of music experts and listeners - despite never being a UK number one single.

| 5. Peter1210 (5) | 3 months ago | IMAGINE was never a Beatles song...John and John only was credited, and this was after the group broke up. My favorite song remains 1965's IN MY LIFE, from RUBBER SOUL, although asking me what my fave Beatles song is impossible. There are so so so many! Take care. Peter...they were the best, and still are.

| 9. yorkshirewriter (63) | 3 months ago | There are so many that stand out as classics: "Something" is one of the greatest love songs of all time. "In My Life" is an incredible song expressing beautiful sentiments. "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" is a haunting song due to it being written about Brian Epstein's love for John Lennon. Although only a cover version "Twist and Shout" recorded in one take with a gravelly voiced John Lennon on vocals, due to him suffering with flu at the time is electrifying.
