|
i have so many friends that havent logged in for a few months, but i know that i went a few months without logging in before comming back, so how long would you say would be a perfect time to start deleting people because they were inactive?

2. gemini_rose (9333) | 9 months ago | I think a lot of the ones that are on my list have been inactive for a while too, it is hard to say because sometimes people go off for a few months and then all of a sudden come back on and then are really active, I have had that happen a couple of times. So I think that I would probably leave it for a while but not sure how long I would leave it!!

libertarianfreedom21 (992) | 9 months ago | i did delete this one guy thats been inactive for 8 months. but i think that if its like 4 months or less they may come back, i was gone for like 3 months one time and then came back

gemini_rose (9333) | 9 months ago | Yeah I would say anything inactive over 4 months would probably be about the right thing to do, knowing my luck I would delete someone only to have them come back and say why did you delete me!!

3. DavidReedy (1335) | 9 months ago | I wouldn't even bother. Maybe they'll be back, maybe they won't. Everybody does things way differently, but the only way I know of any friends status, is if I get a notification in my inbox that they've written something new, in which case--I read it and see if it's something I find worth responding to or something I'm qualified to respond to--a question about astrophysics, or feminine hygiene methods is out of my league. I disappeared from Mylot for a couple of months, with moving getting a new job, starting new classes, at that time dating, all of this new and time-consuming stuff at once--but I'm back now, but I could have in that time, been seen as "inactive" and deleted by someone. Peace.

6. Anhedonia (1776) | 9 months ago | I don't think I'd delete anybody unless they were downright mean or spamming or something. They might always come back, and after all their presence on my friend list isn't hurting me any.

7. SomethingGood332 (1344) | 9 months ago | I delete people after one month of not logging on, but it is not a permanent thing; if s/he gets active again, there is a good chance that I will request, or s/he will request, a friendship, and if that happens, I am happy to add the person back to my friends list.

8. feeding11 (165) | 9 months ago | Don't delete them. Life has kept me away for what about 8 months to a year. My kids have had a busy year and I spent my time doing what was important. Now that things have slowed down I thought I would come back and talk a little. You never know when someone will pop back up again.
