 The more I live, the more I rate respect as a quality. It seem to me that from respect you can go to other places: love, acceptance, generosity.

I aim to treat others with respect, and I like to think that others in turn treat me with respect; that I earn their respect.

My mom use to say "manners and respect takes you through the world." When i was younger i never gave much thought to those words, but as i grew i came to understand what she meant.But over the years i've come to realize that respect is not something that you get at birth, it is something that is earned, and when it's not given it's not returned.
