3. nafisah (32)  | 3 months ago |  You need to take him downtown for child support. The city will take care of him, if he wants to do it the hard way. You won't have to ask him for anything, they will collect all your money for you and your child. Trust me I had to do the samething. It's the best thing. If he ignores you already it only gets worst over time. Once they hear you are going to get them for child support, he may try to be your friend so u change your mind, but don't fall for it. Because after awhile things go back to the same way. Make sure your child gets what he/she deserves. Don't spend to much time worrying about him. Give your child all the love you can. Men come a dime a dozen!!

| 4. longbangod (1047) | 3 months ago |  My sister has the same problem though she is not that insistent to really seek financial support from the father of her child. But there was advises from our relatives, since the father is a seaman, my sister could ask help and assistance from OWWA.
I dont know about your case but I think you can ask a lawyer about it, because I believe its still the responsibility of the father to give financial support to the child even if the parents are not married.
