All about our personal experiences of prayer...

When I was a Christian I did not pray as an individual, only in congregation. But when I became a Baha'i a little over a year ago I learned that according to the Baha'i teachings God is a limitless power source and God is more than willing to lend us some of His power if we pray and the more feeling we put into the prayer, the more powerful it becomes. I then began praying and realized that my prayers were coming true and the more I believed, the more powerful the prayers were. I have healed myself from severe allergies and asthma which I had my whole life. I used the Baha'i Healing Prayers and some prayers I made up off the top of my head. I believe the feeling behind the prayer is more important than the actual words but I have found it is often easier and more potent to use prayers written by Baha'u'llah. I often pray for unity and peace but of course those will take a lot more prayer than smaller things but I believe that each prayer creates a little more unity in the world and that is definitely worth my time! My success in prayers has strengthen my faith in God tremendously as well as my belief in the oneness of the religions (one of the main principles of the Baha'i Faith). That book sounds fascinating by the way. I am a biochemistry major and I love physics too so overlaps between religion/spirituality and science excite me.

I always enjoy reading certain facts about prayer that will always help me a lot. I mostly look certain Roman Catholic sources that contains prayers and other important stuff. Since I got fully initiated into the Catholic Church in Easter of 2006, that always touch my heart a lot. I do pray a lot, for the whole world. Especially my family and victims overall. I always believe in God; the Father, the Son Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, and the Holy Spirit. Do not forget: AMEN. I always have everyone in my prayers. We know that God is the King/Father of life. As we pray, God will hear and see us. Through HIS SON in the SPIRIT. My prayers at all costs affects lots of certain things as well as my family. I do talk to my loved ones that are in Heaven along with saints through my heart and prayer. It is all about life, love, kindness, and all other important facts.
