Please read me a story |
|
So it's bedtime. You are tired and snuggled up under the blankets. Your favourite person is sitting there saying that they are going to read you a bedtime story. Not too long and not too short. What's it going to be?

1. Rosekitty (1623) | 3 months ago | Nighty Night P1ke soon! Well hopefully you have your jammies on and are already tucked in,curled in your favorite side of the bed..ok now lets see? How about the little Fishy that could? He was a very happy fishy that wanted to be like all the other fish in the pond..he would swim as close to the other fish but they just had nothing in common..you see this little fish had a wonderful secret..he wasn't the same color as other fish..he had Pink stripes on him and even though others would look at him, he wanted so bad to explain why..so one day he did..it was because he was a Prince..and he would inherit the pond and rule it..when all of the other fish heard this..they learned to love him and threw him the biggest pond party..he was in Fishy Heaven!

p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | Much as I love Nova's naughty stories Mummymo, I also love the not so naughty ones too. I love it when you read to me. Monsters on the prowl sound good. I hope that you won't fall asleep before the end though. XX

mummymo (10312) | 3 months ago | Ok not a problem sweetheart, are you nice and comfy, had a special tuck in? Ok lets begin then! Once upon a time many thousands of years ago in this very land there lived monsters who prowled the earth - some were nasty and ate all the people they could find they were called carnivores, there were also herbivores who ate vegetation and omnivores who just like Daddy ate whatever they could find! One type of herbivore was called a Brontosaurus, it was long necked with a big stomach and a very small head and it ate from the tops of trees and shrubs, because it had such a small mouth and a large stomach it would have to eat constantly to keep it from feeling hungry! WEll eventually these animals became extinct but one little girl found and befriended one and so that he was kept fed she would take it to friends houses to eat the grass, her friends loved her as they didn't have to get out the dreaded lawn mowers any more! The dinosaur and..... oh he's asleep already and I hadn't finished yet - oh well I shall keep the rest til tomorrow! Ssshh everyone, our beloved p1ke is asleep! xxxxx

3. Transdisc (12276) | 3 months ago | Do you want to go to sleep, p1kef1sh? If you want to, I recommend my reading to you the 911 Commission Report. You should fall right asleep. I was also thinking of anything written by our government. But then again, this might either have you laughing too hard to sleep, or crying.
| |
| |
|
|
p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | I have just had a quick look at the website Trans and I must say that the report will probably put me out so effectively that I might sleep right through tomorrow too. Of course you could read me edited highlights of almost any other Government report and the effect will be much the same. Please don't read me any of George W's bloopers either, or anything from the Democratic nominees, or Presidential candidates more widely, certainly nothing from the British Government. The laughter will not only cause me to stay awake, but probably induce the onset of a hernia too.

5. agfarm (754) | 3 months ago | Hello my Sweet P1key....I haven't talked to you in a while ( sorry 'bout that ) I've been caught up Daydreaming again about a certain guy with Dark Hair and an Australian Accent, But for the life of Me I can't remember his name. I do so love the Aussies. Anyhow .....to answer your question......It depends on the tone of the Day, or if a special request has Been made. For example.....Today was kind of a tough day, because ( I can tell ) my little one wanted to be w/ Dad instead of me. ( A mother's lament ) He looks up to his Dad as if he were Super-Man. I'm just the Chick that picks up the Socks & and Underwear! so.....having said that.....I think in order to Tame the tone down tonight.....we're gonna go with " Winnie the Pooh " unless ( of course ) I receive a Special request. Lately, he's Been requesting that I not read to him at all. ( Do ya think he's tryin' to tell me somehting? )

p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | It's Mother's Day. He should have been with you!! Winnie the Pooh sounds excellent. Reading is good for children, I still get read to when I can and I am a heck of a big child now. Don't give him the option. He'll thank you for it one day. LOL.

9. Angelwhispers (4365) | 3 months ago | If i was being tucked in and read to by my favorite person then the bedtime story I would want read is one by A.N. Roquelaure (A.K.A Anne Rice) "The Claiming Of Sleeping Beauty". Anne has such style and taste when it comes to erotica. This trilogy is hot enough to melt steel on a blistery night.

p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | I read that years ago and if I recall correctly, it sure as heck wouldn't get me off to sleep. Naughty Angel! But delicious. Are you beauty or the Queen? Do you like to command or be commanded?

Angelwhispers (4365) | 3 months ago | **wink** sometimes a little bit of both My dear Pike. Always the Queen however, although this Queen lets her hair down every once in awhile.

10. Goodie123 (6043) | 3 months ago | I think if I could not have Sleeping Beauty read to me, A made up bedtime story would be great. I am not good at bedtime story's, so I would have to get someone else to make one up for me. So which story was read to you Pikey.
| |
| |
|
|
p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | Last night I had two Goodie. One about a fish and the other about prehistoric monsters. They were both very good. I am not sure whether it was the stories or the people that read them.
| |
|
|
Goodie123 (6043) | 3 months ago | I hope the people reading them to you, Were not prehistoric monsters.
| |
|
|
p1kef1sh (2414) | 3 months ago | Mummymo's not a monster. She often tucks me up at night. She reads a good story too. Rosekitty is also a wonderful storyteller. To get them both in the same night made me a very happy and lucky boy.
