Happy Mother's Day! What's your ideal way to spend today?

good for you glad you had a good day today. Well first off we took my mother and grandmother out to brekfest around 10am. Then once we got back I made her a few cds and a dvd which took over a few hours to make them. Since it takes a while to make dvds. I really didnt do much for my mom besides making her a dvd and 2 cds thats because she was busy all day working on the house with my dad for some reason lol.

Mine has been wonderful.=) My husband made me breakfast and brought me coffee in bed and he tried to keep my daughter from crawling on me. He gave me some nice earphones for my mp3 player and little squirt picked out a candle and a card for me. I also got some plants and pots for my front porch area and some solar landscape lights. I'm relaxing here watching my son play GTA4 and chatting, and we'll be off to dinner when hubby returns with the girls.

it sounds like you had a wonderful day yesterday on Mother's Day. my ten year old son made me a Mother's Day card in his classroom where that he goes to school. and the seven year old made me a ceramic bowl that is so pretty. i have it sitting on my nightstand in my bedroom. the ten year old had to write down ten things about his Mom on the Mother's Day card. first thing that he wrote down was, 1. She is good at cooking. lol duh. lol and i hung out with my Mom for several hours yesterday during the day and i made her a homemade pineapple cake and she loved it! and also, my brother bought her a new outside swing! so i think that she had a beautiful day yesterday also. i couldn't have wanted a better day myself.

I haven't bought my present yet. My hubby and son decided to give me money instead and I can buy what I like.

I had a busy weekend with a cousin visiting from Samoa, then spent Mother's day at church with my husbands friends. They put on a huge lunch and we each got a rose with an ula lollie lei. We went back to their place, had a few wines and played some card games.
