Mom's Day gift

We first met this young man

when he came to upstate to

stay with our down the road

neighbors through the fresh-air

funds. He was from NYC and came to our

town each year for years. He would always

come straight up to our house and be here

most of the time..As the years went by

he would come up to visit on his own..

I had become his other Mom...

He spent time in Iraq and when he got out he

came here to life..He and one of my sons

rent a house.

He always remembers me at holidays and

Saturday night he showed up with a bottle

of Yellow Tail wine...

Life is good!

He sounds like a very nice young man, my boyfriend of 8 years is from Bashra, Iraq as well. He is the best thing that ever happened to me.
