Are your mylot friends discussion stealers?

I had a friend that had a discussion that I responded too and I came up with a simular discussion not the same. Not sure he noticed-lol And it was unique-lol

I think we all do that. Where else can you find so many interesting ideas?

I think with so many people here it is bound to happen.

My friends and I talk about alot of the same things but then we have our "originals" as well. I usually just go and respond to theirs and tell them they beat me to it.

LOL good one, this has happened to me several times and it only confirms the fact that the people I have added as friends are like-minded individuals - you know the saying "great minds think alike"? Well I won't include the bit about "fools" hehe! When it's happened to me, I've just gone in and posted my response and left it at that, it would be silly to deliberately go ahead and post the same discussion unless, of course, you wanted to pose different questions to other myLotters which your pal hadn't already covered in their discussion, in which case, the discussion wouldn't be that similar to yours:)

yeah i guess. 2 of my friends just have the same idea about the certain discussion that i posted 1 week ago i don't want to point fingers on them, they just know who they are. but i feel upset whenever i saw some of my discussions that are being "remaked"

Simply put, I see other people starting discussions I had intentions of starting and I think..."Oh, okay then...well maybe they read my mind"
Actually it is amazing to me how people from all over the world can be thinking the same things or pondering about the same things you are/ Whether it be common topics or weirder than weird topics

Dizzblnd You must be faster with your trigger finger LMAO.... yes it happens all of the time. What's better yet is when you are responding to one discussion it will give you a spin off to another of your own. You must at that moment stop and do the discussion at once because if you don't 9 times out of 10 someone is going to think of it too! LMAO

I haven't started that many discussions to be in the position to "steal" anything yet.. I can't even keep up with the emails that I get to respond to all of the discussions that have been started by people on my friends list.. I have answered emails that were almost duplicates, and in the same day, but I feel as if I am so opiniated, I have enough of my opinions to go around.. If I thought of somethinig and thought that it wouldmake a good discussion, then I would go ahead and post it.. I am sure there are enough people to answer all of them.. Great minds think alike..

I have only had this happen once so far, but i have only been on here a month. I generally get my ideas for posts based on what someone else has written, but it a totally different topic.

If I see someone has posted something that I was thinking about posting though, I do not go ahead and post it, instead I just answer whatever their question was.
