Pitgull i have been in the same situations before. I just thats how people are going to be. You could work better yourself if there is no objection. I try to do that, usually during my school days i try to do my projects alone. Yeah sure people would say that you are an anti-social and stuffs like that. But i learned along the way, this days i sit back and relax and watch people do the stuffs and wait for the instructions to do something, unless i am in charge. Because if i try to be in charge there might be people who would not like it and that means trouble, well most likely i guess. Its better to know your role in a team first before you take the next step. Since you say you could do things better and yield results than you are just better than your team mates.

I am a team player and i always try to work with all the members of the team so as to get the best output. However,I don't hesitate to take the lead if the need arises but I don't lose sight of the fact that i am a member of the team so I lead but I work with the other members to produce or work for what is best for the team or to reach the goals abd targets set by the team as a team. I don't impose my preferences on the others and i don't work to better myself alone but to better the team as a whole. What's the use of being a member of a team if all you want to do is work to better yourself only?

Well we work on differant projects as well. And as iam the youngest memeber usually in my field ( consturction field ) iam not the one who gives the ideas and all.
IAm usually the man who takes advises and work accordingly. Though i have full freedom to put my opinions.

If I have to be part of a team I will do all I can to conform and make sure everyone has an equal say, without taking on a leading role, because that is not in my nature. I am too self sufficient and am used to acting on my own judgement. I don't fit in well with the team spirit. I would make the effort for the sake of the rest of the team but I would not be happy. I am too much of a free spirit to enjoy team activities.

it depends on certain situations, be it sports or business or just school work. when it comes to business and school work, im not really into being the team captain because i feel that i lack confidence in doing it and i feel that there are other people who are more qualified to be a leader. but i do know that i am a member and i do the best i can for myself to be heard and share input to the work that we are all doing. in sports especially in volleyball in my highschool years most of the people im with dont want to be the leader so i step up into the plate. other team also have their leader and etc. im much comfortable being a leader in sports, but i do ask them what their ideas are and what they can do to improve our game. even though its business, school work or sports i still share my ideas to everybody and its up to them if the accept it or not, and i do the best i can to work well with other people. if certain personalities would want to be the leader of the team thats just fine with me as long as everybody is in agreement.
