You have Grey Hair!!!

i have grey hair (hangs head sadly) but i cannot afford to get it coloured. i bought the 'at home' method and that seemed to work somewhat, but i just feel that i am too young to have grey hair!

I would say the same thing. I'm 19 but I want to get grey hair. It might sound weird but yeah I think people look really nice when their hair is that color. It just looks really nice, i don't think I'm going to color it when I get old. I'll leave it like that.

I can't color my gray hair any more because I am now allergic to the hair dyes, both in-home and salon types. I'm 35 have colored my gray hair for 15 years. (My mother started getting gray at any early age as well, must be hereditary.)
What would I say to some one who just notices that I have gray hair? I don't know. I guess whatever comes to mind when they say something. So far, no one has said anything and the past hair dye is fading quickly. I know they are seeing it (you can't help but notice because about 75% of my hair is gray) but perhaps are polite enough not to say anything.

Know of any natural hair dye solutions? I absolutely hate looking twice my age!

Well I am sorry to say I have not crossed that road as of yet. But I have wanted gray hair ever since I can remember. I think gray hair is very beautiful. I am 56 years old not 1 gray hair yet. I keep looking though. I even frost my hair at times to give me that salt & pepper look. There is really no need to respond in any other way, I would think, except that I Know!!

I was lucky. As a blonde, my old lady hair came in more white than grey, so it looked like I had streaks. For a few years, I had a favorite stylist - about my age - and she told me over and over how lucky I was. She once said she counted 9 shades of blonde/lt. brown hairs and said, "No bottle can do what nature does so beautifully."

I still colored it to get rid of the grey/white hairs. Then I was really sick and then got the call that my brother died. Off hubby and I went in the car to the funeral. And my sisters were surprised and wondered, "When did you go grey/white all over?"

I hadn't even noticed until they pointed it out to me.

My age is 24 years.But i have two or three gray(white) hairs for years.i do not mind it.It do not spread.So i do not give more care to it.

I respond in one of two ways. I either say "you are just discovering this" or I will point out that they have way more then I do. It really all depends on the person who says it to me.

I would say that "I've got more where that came from!" LOL! Oh by the way, they said once you start dying your hair, the more grey hair you'll have.

I saw one Japanese woman across the street who fashioned her hair short and grey but dye the ends with black, it looks really good, I might try that one day! G'day!

I would try to make a joke! There are more things that change as we get older than anyone realizes! I was at my friend's place the other day, and I think his eyes are turning grey! HE told me that our voices change quite often as we get older.

I wouldn't really mind if someone pointed them out. In fact, I'm usually pointing them out to other people as I'm going gray at a young age. I guess I have my genes to thank for that. I just started coloring my hair so it's hard to see them unless it's growing out. I think it's a bit rude for people to point it out especially if you are sensitive about it. I think I would point something out about them right back to make them see how it feels.
