 Has anyone else had the misfortune of being diagnozed with Meniers disease? If so what did you get told. It's an awful thing and I hope it goes away one day.

with it but my doc say I
most likely suffer from it but due to
other medical problems it is hard to isolate it
There is no cure so it doesn't matter that
I do ar do not have it...
I do have bouts when I have to lay very quiet
or I will throw up and fall over and unexpectedly
it will go away then come back another time.
The tinnitis is the worst part though...

| 4. slickcut (5141) | 5 months ago |  My husband has meniers disease and it never goes away..he has a awful time with it.They only give him fluid pills to remove any fluid,and they give him valium for the dizziness...When you have sinus,head colds or alergy it really acts up..there is no cure for it,all they can do is treat it...It is a very unpleasant disease to have....he suffers with his all the time...Sometimes when his ears really get bad he nearly falls over...

5.  plunketear (496) | 5 months ago |  If it is similar to tinnitus then loud noises would irritate it I would think. Ask your doc about wearing ear m*ffs (plugs) when vacuuming or cutting the grass. I have to wear ear plugs when on the bike due to the loud rush of air off the fairing. It reaches over 120 db. I also wear hearing protection when doing anything loud for any period of time (cutting grass, vacuuming, grinding in the shop etc).
Would you believe it? myLot didn't like the word m*ffs.. sheesh..
