Celtics. Only time I ever pulled for the Spurs was back when they had Avery Johnson, Dennis Rodman, and David Robinson. I can't even remember who they were playing, but Avery Johnson had a career defining game. That was a playoff game that define him as player, and now as a coach. I hope LAL defeats them, and Boston handles their business to make for a nostalgic NBA Finals match-up. Although, the Spurs-Celtics would make for a good match-up as well because the Spurs are the team of the decade. Detroit is pretty much the team of the decade in the Eastern Conference, but only time will tell if Boston can keep their dynasty-like ways from reoccurring. I love the Celtics, Bruins, Yankees, and Raiders. The Yankees, and Raiders have had quite a bit of success since of have been an adult. Boston however has endured the Rick Pitino era, Reggie Lewis passing away prematurely, the death of Len Bias, the stabbing incident with Paul Pierce, and Antoine Walker. I love Antoine 'til this day, but beating Detroit, and then whoever for the championship will be sweeter than the Yankees winning it all in '96 with Charlie Hayes catching the final out, and Wetteland on the mound. Go Celtics, stay focus, and maintain home-court advantage. Stick it to the haters, especially Stephen A. (bleeping) Smith. This dude actually said he didn't know what Charlotte was thinking when they traded their first round pick, Brendan Wright, for Jason Richardson. He acts like the Bobcats drafted Durant, Horford, or Ogden, and traded them for Michael Pietrus. He's the Eminem of analysts looking for an argument with loud, obnoxious opinions that vy for shock value. That's the only thing I can't make out of some of his comments.
