What do you consider the most valuable lesson you have learned in life?

I think the most valuable lesson I've learned in life is patience. There have been so many times that I have had to struggle and wait for my life to get better in some way and there was nothing I could do to speed up the process. Once I understood that I didn't have control over the situation and chose to be patient, it was easier.

To chill out and enjoy life. I was a workaholic for years and when I became disabled I was devastated. I have since learned to enjoy life and not sweat the small stuff. When something bad happens, I say to myself "if this is the worse thing that happens to me today, I'm having a pretty good day." Since adopting this attitude I find I am much happier as a person. Life is much more enjoyable and I laugh a lot more. The funny thing is it took me a while to change my mindset so I would say those words out loud to myself. Now my twelve year old daughter says the same thing when something doesn't go her way. My house is a much happier place to be.

I have learned that I can do much more things then I give myself credit for, and that is also a very important finding for me.

I wanted to share two lessons that make some impact in my life. First is to do the best that you can in whatever task you have. When I was in college, I didn't quite take my study seriously and have such a bad academic records. Though I know that I can do better in my studies. How I regret it very much now that I'm working. Second is to show and express your love and care to your love ones. I have learned this when my brother die. Well I'm not a showy person with regards to love and care but I do hope I have shown and share the feeling I have for him when he was still living.

never ever under estimate a woman in love! no matter is the guy is yours and loves you, they never ever give up doing things to the their man back! They play t o be nice to you, just to get closer to him, and once you turn your back, they strike you! Be ware of woman in love...they dare to do anything in the name of love hehehe

I guess that the most valuable lesson I have learned in my life is that I am to be thankful even for the adversities that come my way and to trust God in all things. While I have learned this lesson I fail to always apply it right away.

to be strong and have your own mind because when you go out in the world, lots of scumbags will try to mess with you to make themselves feel better of their pathetic loser lives...

I think the most valuable thing I learned was to not depend on others for my identity,my health, my wealth, my happiness or my life.
I didn't have too fabulous childhood and I learned that I couldn't always trust adults....this was a hard lesson that caused me a huge amount of problems growing up. But as an adult I have raised two wonderful kids that are pretty independent and strong and yet we are all friends. My husband had to reteach me that you can trust some people and I learned that it's ok to be hurt sometimes....

I can only be me. Anyone that likes it... wonderful. Anyone that hates it... fine. It'll just be me, that's it. Seems like I've gravitated toward this in more recent years.
