why do you learn English?

no i am not interested to learn english but in india for all major course degree are in english so i have to learn this language and for good job you need good english.

Hi there... English is the second-language of my country. We have been taught English since we were in Pre-school and it is the medium of instruction. Lately, call centers are mushrooming like crazy in my hometown and people are right now are scrambling to be proficient in English, since it is a very good industry. Here, English is equaled to success and landing a great job.

Moreover, if you ask me, i am able to convey my thoughts better in English, whether spoken or written than with my own native language, unfortunately. i love English and i am an avid reader. i have been reading as long as i can remember and i an huge fan of English TV shows like smallville, csi, the nanny, lois and clark etc.

what are your thoughts about these?

It must be learned by everyone to communicate. It's a universal language an needed for travel to other countries so you can talk to other people.
