 I heard on the news about PIRATES asea and I was amazed because I thought that was only in the ancient times as the film Pirates of the Carrebean.
Only now they are very modernized and don't dress and have swords as the ancient pirates.
Evil is everywhere..no wonder in Revelations God has placed an angel with one foot on the land and one on the sea..soon that prophesy will be realized and oh boy I sure wouldn't want to be one of them.
It sure amazed me that Pirates still exist..wowowow!

The shipping companies are really worried about the lives of their crews and the loss of their ships and the goods they are transporting.
These modern pirates are illegally buying and using weapons designed for warfare, to kill and do the maximum damage. Something must be done to stop them. I think governments need to co-operate and send in their navies to protect the ships and stop this terrible activity.

With the collapse of the colonial empires, and the reduction of their fleets, especially the British Royal Navy, piracy is on the increase everywhere, even in the Med. The only place fairly secure is US coastal waters due to the US Coast Guard. Some parts of the world, such as the South China Seas, piracy is a huge danger.

3.  jonesy123 (1256) | 3 months ago |  Piracy and slave trade never quite went away altogether but is experiencing a revival of sorts as economies collapse and more sophisticated boats and weapons are more easily obtained by the pirates and running drugs and slaves has become less profitable than attacking merchant and even cruise ships. The movie definitely had nothing to do with it, lol. It's more that where there is an opportunity somebody will take advantage of it. We will have to outfit our ships with a mechanism of self-defense again or provide military escort which each ship. Especially, if the world food crisis continues to grow.

It isn't cool at all! Because they don't hesitate not only to steal what you have but actually throw people overboard or shoot them.
So I don't see how you could think its cool because pirates were always killers, enslavers, rapists etc.

I don't think pirating is any worse than some dude getting into an apartment and raping an innocent woman, or someone holding up a conveience store and murdering the clerk.
They do the same thing, just, they're on water and not on land.
