Sharon Stone is deeply sorry?

I don't think she is either. She's always spouting off about something and a lot of times, it lands her in hot water. I've seen footage of how mad and in you face she can be. Maybe this will finally teach her to stop and think before she says something.

It is really a sheer wonder as to how she thinks. As much as having a grand occassion to smear the Chinese in China, she has chosen a much softer prop for her apology. I believe a press conference would be the least she could do. Again, I suppose she just lack the wisdom (wonder if she has one here) to know what sincerity here means.

Oh, she has forgotten the Chinese hospitality given to her when she was here in China. Such ingratitude coming from a celebrity like her is really shallow to the deepest grave.

Well, Shallow Stone, I am sure you should know how to be grateful and sincere. C'mon I am sure you can do better than that, slapping someone and expect it to be settled in bed?? I am sure we are already over Basic Instinct 2 what now? #3??

Hi mooch! I guess, she is really feeling sorry and have regretted making such remarks since she has lost a commercial and her films were banned. I hope this could be a lesson to all the famous people and to us ordinary mortals too that we have to always be careful in what we say that could be hurtful words to others for we can never ever take it back once the hurt has been done. I just hope and pray that it may be a lesson that will be taken seriously by all.

wow! I know this will not change the decision of people from CHina, maybe she will be forgiven but the damage has been done! Good luck to her and that will be the lesson for everyone in the industry!

I think she would be better off sticking to scripts than making such offensive remarks! Isn't it funny how celebrities are always so sorry AFTER they have lost sponsorships etc? xx

I'm not surprised at this action. She's always been weird to me because she usually seems stuck in her own personal world. I don't believe she is truly sorry. How can you make a comment like that and then pull back and say, 'Oh, I didn't mean it.' People have seemed to follow her crap for years and now it's finally caught up with her. She's not even a clever or decent actress anyway. I hope this will follow her for the rest of her career.

i wonder if she really knows which 'inappropriate words' really hurt the Chinese people, and others like me?..
and i also hope her 'appology' is a sincere one.. not because she's about to lost her earnings..

Even the famous have to be careful of what you say out of your mouth it can cause serious problems. Just like Mrs. Stone has and i have seen now for myself since yesturday. Someone else posted a discussion about her but i didn't comment.

I have always admire Sharon Stone for her strengths and work for charitable causes... but the statement she said about the earthquake in China was realy turnoff... a person should not make such statements since the country just experience one of the most tragic event in the history of the world... it was like adding insult to injury... there is nothing she can say or do that can counter or appease the chinese people...

I can't say that words when i think about the people were injured in earthquake.
if I were her,I prefer to say nothing and do my best to get them out of the disaster.
