Ex-relationships  | |  How do you feel about your exs?
I feel really down thinking about my ex. I did love him alot, but we were so different. I was always the one trying, and it felt like i wasted a lot of time trying to make things work. I actually really wanted to be with him. But maybe I was trying to make something work that couldn't. Now that I've let him go, its more like I'm still looking for that guy that I wanted him to be, or that I imagined him to be. It's kinda hard, that there were things I liked about him, but then there were worser things about him, and then I still can't get over the feelings of caring about him. He's still a friend, but its so confusing sometimes, ive been through hell or something with him. He's mistreated me, its just really weird that I want to care, maybe in a sense he didn't feel like he mistreated me. But anyway, maybe I'm clinging to this illusion that he was nice, and maybe its a mix of him actually being nice, it's just hard to let go of some of the things.

In my case, I am friends with my exs and it's all because prior to our relationship, we started as really good friends. Just because our relationship as bf/gf did not work out, that doesn't mean that we have to end our friendship as well. Maybe it helps too that both of us parted in good ways with no harm feelings and accepted the fact that, we were not meant to be together as husband and wife. You have to let go of him, your memories of him and let time heals. It will happen....someday. Good luck! | |

It's like i don't really want a relationship with him as a couple if it is the way he is now, but i see some nice sides of him, and that's hard to get past. Because I haven't met someone with the same personality. Obviously, everyone is different. I'm so used to some of the ways he is, I'll miss him when he is away.
Don't beat yourself up for mistakes though, mistakes happen. I guess everyone learns and does better as they go along. I don't want to be in a relationship where I can't ever make a mistake tho, I hope people are forgiving, as long as I'm faithful to them etc. | |

No my ex lover yeah i miss him a lot the reason i call him my ex lover is because we really never got a chance to date... Hes is in Iraq now and i a married to a wonderful guy... I think about my ex lover all the time i still talk to him since he is in Iraq i like to keep in company while he is over there. Now my husband will be going to Iraq to so i will keep him company as well. But the answer to you question is yes i do think about my exes.
