Holy Season Finale of Lost!

And, I meant to ask another question...do you think that Sun is going to try to pair up with Whitmore in an attempt to do harm to Jack. As he told Ben, she blames him for Jin's death. So, maybe Jin's death changed her and now she is heck bent towards doing away with Jack. And, who better to help her than Whitmore?

Also, where do you think that Sayid is taking Hurley?

I noticed the change in Sun's personality. Now she has this aura or power in terms of her new found wealth and new found strength maybe out of her sadness of losing Jin. Have you noticed how she turned her back on her father because the old man didn't accept Jin? So, maybe this would be a sign that Sun can turn her back on Jack and maybe team up with Whitmore to do something against Jack.:)

I did notice that about her turning her back on her dad. She can be very strong so, I believe that she has the strength to go against Jack and, with Whitmore on her side...Jack better watch his back.

Yeah, I wonder about Sun, too. And, if Jack has to get everyone back together, she will probably be very resistant. It seems that most of the Six don't want to go back to the Island. And, what about the dream with Claire warning Kate not to take Aaron back?

Yup! Jack is most definitely going to have his hands full convincing the others to go back to the island with him. I actually think that the one person that might go back with him, or agree before anyone else, would be Sun. But I think she would only go for two reasons. One would be to make sure that Jin is really dead since she really wanted to go back and make sure he did blow up on that freighter. Although, I think she has resolved herself to his death. But, the other reason would be to kill Jack where no one will be able to find him.

That actually was a flashback. The woman who was having a baby at the time, in which Jin had to get the Panda, was the wife of a client.

As far as that episode where Sun flashed forward and Jin was on his way to take a Panda to I think his boss' baby, Sun's was a flash forward but, Jin's was a flashback. So, it looks like he really is dead.

And, it did answer a lot of mysteries while raising more questions! That is something I love about Lost! It keeps me glued!

I wonder if Jack went to Locke's funeral to make sure he really was dead. But, I think he went out of respect because, regardless of the fact that the two butted heads a lot, there was an underlying current of mutual respect between the two as they each fought for power so, it may have been him just showing his respect for Locke.

I cried when Desmond and Penny reunited! Ok...I cried a lot during the episode! LOL! I actually wept a little for Sawyer but was elated to see him swimming up to the beach! And, I nearly wept for Jin but, the thrill of watching them plummet to the ocean in the helicopter kept me preoccupied from thinking too much about having seen Jin blow up. Ugh! I hate that! I liked his character. It was almost as crappy to see him die as it was to see Charlie die last year.

The redhead sure is way more interesting now! So, she was maybe born on the island? Strange since she couldn't have been conceived on the island or she would likely have died before she was born. Danny did that experiment with time travel that nearly killed Desmond and, he loves the redhead.

So, since people tend to dream of the dead as the dead deliver messages to the living, is Claire dead now? I know she was in the cabin with Jack's dad who is supposed to be dead. So, was she killed?

I can't wait to see what the new season holds!

I loved seeing Desmond and Penny reunite!

And, the only way that Jim may still be alive is if he jumped off that freighter and dove really deep to avoid the explosion. I hope he is still alive but, the spoiler said that 3 of the originals would die. That was Michael, Jin and Locke.

But, I really hope that you are right and that Jin survived somehow!

Please don't apologise, Cortjo73. I knew what I was getting myself into when I read the discussion. It doesn't spoil it for me at all - just makes me more eager to see it.

Hi cortjo73. Lost is on Thursday nights here so it is two more sleeps before I get to see the season finale. Can't wait to see it and join in the conversation.

I didn't even think about the parka and Tunisia. LOL! Nor did I think about the polar bear skeleton. Wow! You just helped me even more. There is always so much to try to remember and, if you slip at all, you will miss the subtle clues and answers! LOL!

That name didn't sound familiar to me and, it was driving me crazy because I knew we were supposed to know the person in the casket very well. So, I could not remember for the life of me who Jeremy Bentham was. LOL! It started to occur to me halfway through that it may have been an alias. And, I don't think that Locke killed himself. I think that if it was suicide, the island drove him to it as he was so obviously supposed to stay there. It was probably a way of the island to punish him.

Oh...maybe that is it about what Sawyer told her. I know we will eventually find out but, ugh...I can't wait! LOL!

As for Daniel and the other survivors that were headed for the freighter, they are still alive. They were still alive when the helicopter hit the water. So, I wonder what happened to them too. I wonder if they found another island or if they were rescued by another boat. I wonder, if they got rescued, maybe they were the other people, other than Desmond and Lupetis, that Jack referenced, or was it Sun, when one of them told someone else that they weren't the only ones who got off the island. Shoot...who said that? I am drawing a blank. Did Sun tell Whitmore that or did Jack tell someone else that, whom I can't remember. Sheesh! There was so much going on that I am just totally drawing a blank as to who told whom. Anyway, I wonder if Jack knows that Daniel and that last group made it home too and, in addition to Desmond and Lupetis, he was also referring to them.

Jeez...even more questions than I already caught last night! LOL!

I think Sun's reference about not being the only ones who got off the island was a veiled reference to Desmond. I also think that she's playing Whitmore. Did you see the sly little grin on her face as she walked away?

It has been an exceptional season! They brought their A game this season! But, then again...my love for the show has never waivered!

And, yes...they left a lot to be excited about for next season! Tons of new questions! Enjoy when you do see the finale!

I agree. I was totally attracted by this season. Tonight I finally watch the finale. They are just fabulous! I just want to watch the next season right now. Unfortunately, we have to wait for a long time till then.

Wow! You did miss a bit. I am guessing you missed the entire end. It was Locke and we know that, not because they said it. We know because they showed Locke in the coffin. And, we saw that when Jack went back to the funeral home and broke in to take a look at him. As he opened the casket, Ben came in and spoke to him. He told him that he has to go back to the island but, the island won't let him go back alone so, no matter what measures he takes to try to get back to the island, it won't let him get there without everyone else. He has to gather Kate, Sun, Hugo, Sayid, Aaron and also take Locke in order to go back. They all, including Locke's body, have to go back to the island together.

Also Desmond and Frank (the helicopter guy) I believe...because they left the island with them. If not Frank, then certainly poor Desmond because he was there longer than Jack and the others.

Goodness, if this is the case I hate to think of how Desmond will take it. Finally reunited with his girlfriend after so many years to have to go back to the place he'd been trapped for so long...

Ben didn't mention having to get Desmond and Ben together too. I think he just meant the 815 survivors. The pilot was there of his own free will because he was taken there. But, we'll see!

I was so sad to see Sawyer jump but so glad to see him swim up to the beach! And, I thought that Lupitus was going to suggest that Hurley jump but, I had a feeling that Sawyer would do it.

So, we don't see Desmund anymore? I am just glad that he and Penny found one another again. Of all the times that we have seen characters kicked off the show, at least there was one happy ending and that was that Penny and Desmond reunited.

I have no doubt we'll see Desmond and Penny again. She's Whitmore's daughter. They'll resurface somewhere, somehow.
