Contraception, how does it affect women, men and family?

I think that can be part of it.
My honest opinion is that most humans shouldn't have children. In today's society, with the 2 working parents, many parents simply do not have the time needed to properly raise a child. Or they are too immature to have children. Raising children takes a serious level of commitment many of the Western World simply do not have within themselves.

I think it's better to prevent unwanted pregnancies than to have unwatned children.

I don't believe life itself is sacred, I think the Quality of Life is sacred. If someone can't afford a child, they are making the correct decision in prevention.
Not everyone is cut out to be a parent.

In the year 1900, it was estimated that there were 1.65 billion people on the planet. In 108 years, that number has increased to 6.7 billion. Modern medicine and lack of plagues and horrific natural disasters have played a part in this, as well as the idea that God told us to go forth and multiply, so we should stop using birth control and try to have as many children as possible.

The truth is, our planet does not have the resources to handle this many people. And babies are being born faster than people are dying, again thanks to modern medicine that keeps older people alive for much longer than it did in the past. We have countries where the population is enormous but there is very little in the way of food or arable land, and people are starving and living in squalor. Yet these people still keep having more and more babies because they've been told that birth control is evil.

Life is precious, but more life isn't necessarily more precious. I fear that in time, especially if projections are correct and that we'll be at 9 billion people by 2050, people will have to adopt a system like China where only one baby per household will be allowed. The earth simply cannot sustain us all.

We heard that overpopulation is to be blame on the current issues of rice shortage in our country. This is how those stupids in our government thought of the problem. I myself is in favor of contraception because I know for a fact that I can't give a decent life to a dozen children. If we don't have the resources to feed, clothed and send our children to a reputable school, then i think it's a mortal sin to have more than what we can afford. It's not about the pleasure of baby making but the future of these children are at stake.

The food shortage must be blame to whoever make it a big issue. We know that these came in the height of a more controversial issues that the government is facing, trying to switch it and make the real issues be forgotten.

very important topic dear friend this not the solution at all believe me earth need more people to work in it and develop it's treasures the problem never been in population unfortunately this the image that failure governments gave for us to hidden them failed in investing the power of population . it's a treasure too but they failed in using it . the reasons of starvations are first the heat revivals wish cause of burning jungles and melting poles which lead to sinking villages and islands second the way that industry countries act with the world and the natural . this very sad that we don't now until now the real reasons for our disasters .
