has any one tried online trading?

thanx for the information,though i am a mechanical engineer specialised in marine engineering,i m a dumbo so far as stock market is concerned..in fact i have just opened a trading account and want to go full throttle not only in share trading but also forex trading coz when i m not sailing on ship i m u knw sort of 'bekaar'u will understand what i mean-so i want to do something that will be more profitable then mylotting,will earn me some part time income for the time i spend....i m more interested in forex trading...by the way i had investe quite a lot in equity mutual funds and really burnt my fingers as a result of such a drastic dip in sensex.i will really b obliged to u if u can help me in forex trading.
