What Good Have You Done Lately?

im gona sound retarted saying this but ive been with my grandma all week and the kids both had a play in school so i hlp the teachers out, this weekend im just staying home and curling up to a nice book and some hot chocolate with the kids lol, but you are right we should do something nice for someone else its a blessing bieng anble to help some else.

Oh not sure if this applys or not to random acts of kindness but the other day I was feeling really down in the dumps and I got on a site that my grandson goes to that he can fix his chat page up with things he likes and I bought and sent him come credits so he can buy even more things for his chat page. He had no idea I was going to do this. I noticed that he has bought new stickers and got a new avatar. They do get free credits to get new things but when your purchase some you can get better ones. He was really surprised and happy. He can really enjoy it now since yesterday at noon he is out of school for the summer.

I always do random acts of kindness for others every day of the week. It never comes back to me though, it seems. It wears me out waiting for it to happen. I am always doing things for others, mainly within my home. I used to do it for others outside of my home but I got tired of being used and never even acknowledged afterwards. I work seven days per week to help my family make it. I tried to help my husband out in the yard this weekend but he never hardly talks to me so I stopped and came in. He invited acquaintances to help him today though and talks their head off. We are supposed to be best friends but he never had friendly words to say to me as his wife. It is always some off of the wall conversation. I always try to make everyone around me happy but never get it back. No wander I stay so depressed.

In the service station on the way home from my hols yesterday a little girl was strugging with the taps in the toilet. One woman just let her struggle, so I went over and gave her a hand. I also helped someone carry their pushchair down some stairs as everyone else just let the poor lady struggle, I know how hard it can be so I gave her a hand.

I am always willing to lend a hand to others if I can, and it is a good feeling to lend a hand to others in a moment where they are stuggling. I do not understand how people can just stand by and watch them struggle.

The only good deed I can think of this week was when I saw a mother let go of her child's pushchair so she could turn round and speak to her older child who was playing up behind her. She did not seem to notice that she was on a slope and the pushchair began to roll down the slope towards me. Of course I stopped it and pushed the child back up to the mother, who looked rather alarmed when she turned back to see her infant was not where she expected. And she was very grateful to me.

If I can make someone feel better with a smile and a cheerful word I will do so.

This morning before 8 a. m. I let the guy behind me in line at Wal Mart go ahead of me. It was easy, he only had a phone card, but he did appreciate it. I do try to share my smiles with the crabby, sometimes I AM the crabby, This is a good discussion. I am on my way to pick up my food share for the month. We are supposed to have done one hour of volunteer work to qualify.

let me see...this is a tough one....i helped a small boy by dropping him home frm the park as he had got hurt..i spent more time with my kid today without being impatient with him and v made greeting cards to b sent to his grandparents...i met my aunty in the hospital who is suffering frm cancer of ovaries...i guess thats all...these r the quality things i can think of

what have I done lately, lets say in the last two weeks, sent two cards via snail mail to friends who need a bit of encouragement, tried to do as much of cooking and ironing and dishwashing as I could (my husband is the homemaker and normally responsible for such things but I am on sick leave having a herniated disc which is painful but I didnt want him to have even more work on his shoulders because I am not well right now).

Today as we started to go into Sams Club shopping we grabbed a few carts and brought them inside as they were in the middle of the parking lot. So I saved a customer the hassle of having to move it as they were to park or leave as well as helping the employess have 3 less carts to bring back into the store themselves.
