A tall, refreshing glass of antioxidants please.

I love drinking tea in the summertime. I rarely drink any other time of the year, even though I know it is very good for your health. But there is just something about a tall glass of iced tea on a hot summer day that is quite refreshing.

I also love MCD's sweet tea, even though sometimes it is even too much for me on the sweet side.

Here is how I make my iced tea. I boil a pot of water, and when it is steaming hot I plunk two big bangs of tea bags and in and shut the heat off. I then let it set for about 15 minutes and then pour it into a gallon pitcher and pour 1 and 3/4 cup of sugar in and stir it up while it is still hot. Then I add the remainder cold water.

I think there is a difference when you add the suage while it is hot. I know that it melts faster and it is just better.
