Did you know this about Obama?

His blood pressure is within the normal range, although at the lower end of that. I also didn't know he smoked, but am very pleased to learn that he is trying to stop. My mother has emphysema after 60 years of smoking - a horrible thing to have!! So, the fact that he is making the effort increases my respect for him.

He sounds pretty healthy, but that 90/60 is pretty low, but I am no doctor. I have heard that he is still smoking, or is trying to quit smoking. I think it would be great to have a smoker in office (our current president acts like he is smoking crack, but that is just how he thinks), I am not a smoker, but I think that many of the current smoking laws are wrong. Maybe he can change some minds.

120/80 is actually high, especially the 80. The standard is the lower the better in most cases. Blood pressure can be too low but that's actually rare and it's far less dangerous to be "too" low than even slightly high. I take medication for high blood pressure so I've read up on it quite a bit. I knew he did smoke but I didn't know he was still struggling with it. I understand what he's going through as a smoker myself.
