 As you all must have figured out I am a huge Met fan. I am sure most of these answers wont be a shock. I'm gonna try to keep this convo here short.Here is my list.
Baseball
1.Oliver Perez ( even before he was a Met)
2.Jose Reyes
3.Pedro Martinesz
4.All the other Mets lol
5.Paul big butt Lo Duca ( he better get well soon)
6. Ryan Zimmerman
7. Ian Snell
8. Freddy Sanchez
9. Xavier Nady ( what a twist there)
10. Johnny Damon ( more when he was a Red Sox)

Hockey my list is kinda small .
1.Evgeni Malkin
2. Max Talbot
3. Jocelyn Thibault ( dont ask)
4.Jaromir Jagr ( fiance wants to kill me)
Football I really dont have a favorite
1. Used to be Jerome Bettis

1.  belhaven14 (228) | 8 months ago |  My favorite baseball player is deifnitly Greg Maddux. Partly because I am a Braves fan, but mostly because of his style of pitching. He never through hard but he could put the ball wherever he wanted, whenever he wanted, and how fast he wants it (under 90mph of course). It is the same style of pitching I try to match. I don't really have any true favorites in the other sports. Football I like most of the Browns obviously. Braylon Edwards is probably my favorite as well as Kellen Winslow Jr. I wish Winslow wasn't such a thug though.

There was something about him, even though he's struggling a bit and not really looking as good as he used to, that I enjoy watching. I know I like young pitchers, guys like Tim Lincecum for the Giants. Then I like David Wright, I think he's a great third baseman, and I can even say someone like Torii Hunter, too. There are really too many of them I like.

I am sad about this being the last year at Shea . I wish I didnt live so far away. I went to Shea for the first time last year and I was so happy I almost cried tears of happiness, and then later I cried cause they lost ( this was the last game of the year) go figure that was my first game at Shea. I was in awe the whole game . I was hoping to see the apple too, and we know there was no apple that day .
I like Shea because it was just the feel of being in NYC, and the fans are crazy . No one ever will cheer at a pirate game.
I am planning a trip to Nyc for August and hope to go to a whole series of Mets games.Sucks, I just cant get on a subway and go . It has to be a 6 hr drive lol. | |
