New and Improved?

How does it make you feel when your favourite foodstuffs are now "new and improved" and don't taste the same? We hate this drive to give up on what's been working so well for so long to try something that inevitably don't quite match the "old" one. Over the last few years we have removed several products from our shopping list because they don't make it anymore. What happened? Why do the manufacturers need to try and gain that 0.1% bottom line and end up losing guaranteed customers who liked their product until they improved it. I can't figure this one out.
