don't we just love when it's summer time and you have nothing to do but bum around the house! whooopppppeeeee!!!!! just pure fun! fun! fun! but then with all the free time that we have, we tend to watch TV more or play computer games. the result: WEIGHT GAIN! so here are some tips that i've read in a magazine that would help us stay active and be healthy for the summer holidays! a. build your vacation around a physical activity okay, it's time to stretch and pick yourself up from that couch and do some physical activity. it doesn't mean that you have to exercise or go to the gym all the time. just a half hour walk in the park or around your negihborhood will do. or if you still want stay glued into your TV, do some stretching while it's on commercial or jog in place. if you have the latest Wii fit, then being on TV could help you get in shape as well. b. when you travel, check out your surroundings for active opportunities okay, so you're on a trip and it's time for you to enjoy. well, when you are done with the sight seeing, why don't you take that extra mile of walking or pokinga round the neighborhood. i'm sure there are other interesting things out there that you could see too. it's like going beyond what is in the presented tourist spot. you never know, you may discover that it is worth your while. or there could be people in the park doing tai chi or something. it's a good place to start learning and interacting with the local people. c. eat light so it's the summer and we have nothing to do so we go to the refrigerator every now and then to get something to munch on while watching our shows. it's good right! well, if you want to grow so big that they wouldn't recognize you after the summer is out, it's good. so for your eating habits, try to eat light. eat regular meals and if you have to snack, try having some fruits to munch on. it's better for the health too. SO EVERYONE, LET'S KEEP OUR SCHOOL THINGS OUT FOR THE MOMENT AND ENJOY THE SUMMER!

bubblyapple (611) | 5 months ago | that's good for you....but most of the time, just by doing physical activities around the house or in your negihborhood, you'll be able to avoid weight gain....and that's for free too....but then, if gym is what keeps you motivated then that's good too.

parthajena (214) | 5 months ago | thats right buddy.its sometimes irritating. i believe if you are gaining that extra pound you must also try burning it out.and its easy to burn it out gradually than working out in the gym. as for myself my mom always lashes out on me for my weight...ha. have a good day.

It's difficult to avoid sampling all the wonderful, new, strange and often very delicious food one gets to eat in exotic places! I have an American friend who visits me every year, eats her way through our delicious Indian cuisine and then has to go on a crash diet immediately after she returns home! This happens every year, without fail.
