Have you played 'The Lost Crown' - and what did you think?

Hi Guybrush. A friend recently put me on to Jonathon Boakes games and I think they are brilliant. The Lost Crown was excellent. It had lovely scenery, really interesting places to explore and good puzzles to solve. I found some parts quite spooky - especially wandering around the cemetery after dark and it was really creepy in the crypt.

I have played all the Jonathan Boakes games and have enjoyed every single one of them. I think 'The Lost Crown' was perhaps the longest. I have to say I was just a bit disappointed with some of the voice acting and the fact that some people in the game kept repeating the same thing each time you revisited. I think you should have been allowed to escape those conversations instead of having to listen to them right through each time. Apart from that the graphics were wonderful and so was the story line. I particularly liked the black and white graphics and then suddenly you came across a splash of colour and you truly noticed and appreciated it. The story was enthralling and I couldn't stay away. Mr Boakes is a very clever man who understands how to build up an atmosphere of pure terror. Can't wait for the next one.
