ssh123 (18422) | 5 months ago | Oh, I am sorry, I forgot to mention that these so called body language varies from country to country, relgion to religion. In India, (Hindu religion) sitting with crossed legs in front of elders is treated as bad manner. Similarly when an elders a house, the youngster gets us, particularly the outsiders. Thank you for your interesting response.

I cannot be following Brazilian manners being in my home country. But then, it is better to know the cultures of different countries and so also their manners, etiquettes and if possible their body language, so that we can follow the rule BE ROMAN WHEN IN ROME. Thanks for expressing your views and regards.

2. grecychunny26 (2980) | 4 months ago | I do fiddling with jewelry and hair and drumming of fingers. Crossed arms or legs is what i do most of the time. Clearing throat, i do that before singing. I can believe that i should avoid it. Why? Is this looks irritating?

ssh123 (18422) | 4 months ago | My son is not a singer, (though he loves to listen music). But then I found him singing in bathroom. So all of us have one or the other body language to express our feelings - be it happy feeling or anger. In India, we play cricket and in matches we have seen the players use tbe body language when the opposite side player onslaughts them in game. What you are doing is not at all irritating. Ithink there are certain distinct things about us which according to me, should be retained.

3. KrauseHome (8367) | 4 months ago | How about "Belching In Public?" For me that is one that really annoys me is people who do this out in the open, especially the ones who do it deliberately hoping no one will ever notice or mind. If anything, I seriously think I could put this one in a classification of one of my Pet peeves about things people do.

4. Sunset50 (1173) | 2 weeks ago | Spitting in public offends me, jumping in ahead of others when there is a line, interrupting another person who is talking, tossing your candy bar wrappers or other trash on the sidewalks or in the streets, someone using vulgar language loudly. A food worker reaching up and scratching their head or wiping across their nose while serving someone really really bothers me also. These are things that bother me when I am out that I see people do. Each state in America have their own rules on what is acceptable in public. Here in my city, no public intoxication on public streets is a big thing due to many small festivals held to raise money for different organizations.
