 Ring-ring. Your phone just rang. It may be your house phone, it may be your mobile phone, all the same - do you rush to answer it when it rings?
I know of people who would literally RUN to their phones as soon as they start to ring. Some dash to them for even "less-urgent" smses.
For me, I like to take my own sweet time. For ringing, I will just w-a-l-k there. If the caller can't wait, just too bad. For smses, I either do the same or look at them "later" when I feel like it. What's the rush since if something is so urgent, the sender would more likely call than message?
What about you? When the phone rings, do you rush to it? Or do you take your own sweet time? Or do you let it ring forever to amuse yourself? Or...?

Who says you gotta answer it within 3 rings?
Our phone usually rings just when we're about to eat, or atching a favourite tv show.
I let it ring, figuring if it's urgent they'll call again and if it wasn't urgent it didn't matter.
I will not be ruled by devices that make sounds!

If I miss the call, then that is what caller I.D. is for. I never try to break my neck answering the phone.. But if I am really waiting impatiently, I will just put the cordless phone next to me...

Same goes for sms; I answer ehen I have time. Sms that includes cuddly bears, poems or pointless jokes I don`t answer at all, I have better things to spend my money on;)
I wasn`t always like this, though, I`ve become much more relaxet on this area since my daughter was born.
My cell spends most the time hidden away in the diaper bag, only comes out to play when I have to make a call:P | |
