 Does your spouse or boyfriend lick off his spoon before sharing food with you? Or, offer to let you use his spoon? Isn't that kind of gross or distasteful? I'd rather use my own spoon, thanks! What do you think? Share a spoon or use your own, when you're splitting a dish with someone else?
This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Sometimes when I ask my spouse for a bit of his food at a resteraunt, he will gladly agree. Then he licks off his spoon to clean everything off and dishes some up for me. And, then I have to remind him that I have utensils of my own. It's very funny.

We are all from the same family and if we do have any germs etc then we are going to have the same germs.
I do teach the children that is only ok within the six of us and that they shouldn't do it with anyone else, as it is only accepted within the family.

I suppose if I used his fork more often, then it would be OK or something that I would think was normal. As far as the little girl's untensils, she's picky too and makes me wash everything off. I think that I'm just picking up her habits! LOL! She dictates most of what I do anyway. | |

The only time it's ever really grossed me out was this once he took a sip of my soda after he'd been eating mac and cheese, and left cheese all over the rim of my soda, that was gross, lol.
