I have noticed how people are not as willing to help others

No offense taken at all. I just wanted to put it out there that if that is peoples reasoning for not wanting to help out random people that I understand. But at the same time make people more comfortable with me as a person. There are so many scam artists out there that I can relate to them. I just got a fake check in the mail for 4000 dollars so I understand fully, But in trying to get people to understand that I understand I do hope that some of the people may be a little more apt to join because I am just a small person in this world. This isn't a ptc site or a get rich scheme for me this is a way to help out a stay at home mom by her hardworking husband something for fathers day. I am not asking people for money I am asking them to start an account that is free and somewhat like paypal. But again seriously you do make a good point. LOL

That is the whole point. All that I wrote is an example of how much people have changed from then to now. I was using myself and my friend as examples of that. Yes if someone would be willing to help me out then I would be appreciative. But my intention in this discussion was not to try to guilt people into starting an account at this site. But to say hey the world is not the same as it was back then. I don't blame anyone for beng leary of other people who are asng for ths or that. You never now what you are gettng yourself into. I would like to buy my hubby a gift. My reasons are my own but here they are. We have had a rough couple of years. He works between 50 and 60 hours wee and after payng all the blls never has a dime left over to reward himself. I just feel like if you work that hard you should be able to reward yourself so in appreciation for being that man to step and take care of me and our kids I would like to reward him. I know there are other things I could do for him but I really want to make him feel deserving and that being the one who works so hard that it is not all for nothing.

I understand what you are getting at but I still see it as you are guilten people in to get money out of them. That is not right in my eyes. My fiance works over 100 hours in a week period. Yes you heard right. He is a very hard worker and yes he deserves whatever he wants. I do get alot for him as well as I like to buy him things. But in your case you are a stay at home mom but I am sure you have some sort of income coming in like a child tax or something? I'm not really to sure where you are from.

If you husband understands that you have no money he should understand that a nice dinner, giving him a massage, sharing a nice candlelight bath together is still sufficent to show him that you care and are happy that he is who he is.

You are so very right. Thank you for understanding the point I am trying to make behind this discussion. I am not trying to guilt anyone into anything I am simply making an abservation of the world around us. I used my friend and my situation as an example of that. I am happy that you responded. That is what I am saying thank you for your response. I completley agree. I just wish that people weren't like that ya know. I am that type of person that will do what I can for someone just to help them out. That is how I was raised. You don't see that very often anymore. I think that it is sad that there are so many scams out there. It truly does leave so much skeptism in peoples minds. By the way miz I love your avatar.

i can assure u that if anyone took ur SSN, he cant do anything to, i guarantee that, he cant steel ur identity, iam not afraid if someone took my SSN

imagine if a police officer stopped u and took ur driver licenses he can take ur SSN but he cant do nothing to it

Here in the U.S., if someone gets your social security number they can access all kinds of information and open accounts in your name, clean out your bank account and rob your retirement funds. Nope, not gonna give my number out on the net.

But the point of this discussion was the trust issues in todays world. It is hard and scarey. Like you not trusting your ss number being in the wrong hands. I know what you mean.

I really think people aren't as willing to help nowadays, sorry I missed the point. It's a real shame, in fifty years we've gone from being good neighbors and helping each other to every man for himself. It'll turn around, I'm sure, I hope it's soon!

It is hard anymore to know if a person has reformed from something like that it all has to do with trust any more. And you are right about scammers. Friday I recieved a fake check for 4000 dollars. It is called revolution Money Exchange it is like a paypal account. If you are good at reffering people then you can make up to 500 dollars off of this site. I am not very good at reffering people. LOL I thought it was worth a shot though. I really just wanted to be able to provide for my hubby for a change. Thanks for your interest.

He doesn't do any chores, He doesn't ever stay in bed and he isn't the romantic gesture kind of guy. Otherwise I would do those kinds of things for him. He isn't a materialistic type but he just isn't into stuff like that.

I have checked your profile previously to see if you were an option, (please forgive me for that) As I have sent PMs to some of my close friends here on the lot. I found out that only US residents can join after Spark tried for me. But I do thank you for thinking of me. Do you ever wish you could go back to those old times when people weren't scared to say hi to the passerbys. I do all the time.

You know that's funny because when I stop some where are go to some store I just strike up slight conversation with people just for the heck of. But I always try to keep it humorous something I'm a little crazy but the majority don't for some reason we end up laughing or smiling at each other and I know my day has started a little better. As for as joining other sites I do it some times I win sometimes I lose but I due my Due diligence and I just put the minimum in just to help my friends and don't even let them lnow but in this business they know and we never discuss it are say why did you ask me to join you in that loser. Most of the time I know what's going to earn me some money and what isn't.
So what if my friend don't pay me back it's their loss and my gain because thwy have lost a friend over money and to friendships and honest relationships are more important than money comes and go but true friendship can last forever.

People look at me crazy all the time when I say hello to them as I walk by. LOL I live in a good sized city and people here just aren't that friendly. I am the kind of person to strike up random conversation as well. And some people look at me like I am crazy, Some wonder why I am butting into their business and some are quite friendly and welcome the friendly chat but most of the time they just nod and look away. LOL

I always figure If i don't say hi to people I wont make friends. Friends were strangers first!
