How do you ask your boss for a raise??

Talking with anyone at this moment about money is very mind blowing with the cost of oil and food prices. What you all can do is have a meeting with her and discuss this problem in a mannerable way. If there are workers who you know will blow their fuse before this meeting is over then it is best to choose someone who you know has leadership qualities and can talk on behalf of everyone. This should be done in the most careful way.

I'm not sure. some bosses are so tight. they do not want to share much moiney with their employees no matter how much work they do for them. My husband is going through that right now. He is at work every day and does a very nice job for them, but every time he asks for a raise, they say no, they cannot afford it, but they are always spending outragious money and taking big trips to places. I would say to just come right out and ask. all they can say is, yes or no.

Well, Boss is also a human being, he knows inflation.
Show him, What did you do in last year; how could it help to your organization.
He is your boss,not your employer. Tell him/her each and everything.
If you can flattering with your boss, do it. May be it work.

Back in may my co-worker asked if we would get raises because minimum wage went up. our boss said he'd think about it.

On monday I asked "so about that raise" and he says ok you can have it.

So professional eh?

Other than that I've never been brave enough to ask for a raise before.
