 Two elderly Nuns left their convent in Italy for health reasons. When they tried to return, they were refused. They chained themselves to a lamp post outside of the Vatican to get the Pope's attention so he could intervene on their behalf. This is the strangest thing I've ever heard of.

After all it is the Nuns that like to remind us that we are all brother and that we should accept everybody for whom they are and not because of what they do.
