Book of Poems

First of all, it's copyrighted as soon as you write it down. Second of all, you should get a group of your poems together that are all on the same topic. Anthologies that are all over the place are difficult for the reader.

You can publish your poems in a chapbook (do a search online). There are many places that publish chapbooks which are much less expensive than an entire book.

My book Cat-House Sonnets, 100 poems celebrating cats, was published by Jorlan Publishing. They were very helpful in guiding me through all the steps necessary to make the book possible. My book has won the Muse Medallion from the Cat Writers Association and the Best Poet Award from Preditors and Editors.

i am also in the same hobby like you do for years...i suggests that you since you compiled the poems (im sure about that) why not have published formally and have it out in the public....that will open doors for your writing and you will increase the number of your readers and think it this way, you will increase the number of readers that will be inspired by your poems...

I would suggest looking into Associated Content to publish some of your work. When you make a post online, you choose the level of rights that you give to the website and they pay you based on how many people view each of your poems. You could create a profile on there and chances are if someone reads one and likes it, they will read more of your posts which means more money for you.
