Spent the night in the basement

That's crazy, I've never been in a tornado. I used to sleep in the basement for fun, because it was different. We put couches down there with the foosball table, so not too much sleeping, but always fun.

I do remember during a bad windstorm, we went out to flip over my trampoline so it wouldn't blow away and it almost took out the satellite dish. My parents weren't home, but they told us to do it, and I was scared we'd destroy it, dang wind.

My brother was freaking out telling us to get into the basement, tornadoes were coming.

I lived in Western New York, yeah..I think I have more to worry about blizzards in the summer than tornadoes..

It's good to see that you are safe. I've never had to experience any thing like what you go thru. We just have earthquakes here in so cal.Lori

We had severe weather here last night as well. We also went down in the basement just in case. Turned out not to be to terribly bad, but there was some wind damage in our area.

Well, I am glad you all are safe. I do not have a basement, I am glad that you do. I live in Arkansas, they call it Tornado Alley. We have had so many tornados this year. They have hit very close to where I live, I have never spent the whole night in my bathtub, but have gone there when the sirens go off, and see that the tornados are getting close to where I live.It does pay to be safe, rater than sorry. I have never seen as many tornados as I have this year.
