Have You Been Bored During a Concert?

I have been. One time in particular sticks in my mind. I went to see a band I really like. They were band #4 on a bill of 5 bands. They are super high energy. They end and then the next band, the headliners, comes on and they just stood there and played slow mellow songs. It was awful. So boring. I was at the barricade and I seriously almost fell asleep standing there.

I've actually walked out on a concert once. It was during the intermission, of course. I didn't want to be too rude.

I was bored once... while watching my favorite band... they were singing songs that mostly teenagers would like... so i just left an hour before the show ended... i hate it when singers try to please only one group of the audience...

It is very rare for me to attend a concert. Right now, I don't feel like going to any of it. I don't like the crowd and the crazy fans*giggles* The last one that I went was small live concert organized by a local television here and lucky, it wasn't bad.

I've been to heaps and heaps of concerts over the years, but the only one that was overly boring was Pearl Jam. That was in 1999 and it really jaded my opinion of them, as I adored them and they were one of my favorite bands till I saw them live. It was sad:-(
Then there was Evanescence, who weren't as bad as Pearl Jam, but at that stage, Amy hadn't mastered the art of singing properly while jumping around the stage, so her vocals were not too crash hot...apparently she's improved a lot so I would be willing to give them another go...but I will NEVER willingly go to see Pearl Jam again ever. They ruined my high opinion of them for good lol.

maybe you don't enjoy her songs anymore wonderice. i had some old favorites too that are not my favorites anymore.^__^

i did experience something like that. when we were in college, there was a free concert in a huge restaurant-bar in the city. me and my friends went there. i thought it was going to be enjoyable because my friends got high praises for the band. turned out, i didn't like their songs and but they were a nice band. i didn't really get bored but i sure did wish that i was in a different place. and it was just sad because after a year or two, they got popular because of one of their songs but the rumor has it that they copied it from an already established singer. and when i listened to the song, it did sound like the popular song of that singer. since then, i never liked the band.
