I would simply turn on the windshield wipers and my headlights and keep going:) So long as I can still see the roadway, of course!

Depends on how heavy the downpour & if I can still see ok or not. I always have my kids with me so I pull over if I can't see & I slow down even if I can see...rain & wet roads are so dangerous when you are driving you can't be too careful!

I can only recall pulling over once or twice in my life, and that's because me nerves were probably bad at that moment.

Also, as you know here in the south, if you drive a few more yards the sun will be shining.

There have been a few times that it has rained hard enough that you can't see and have put the flashers on and even pulled over under an overpass until the rain let up some.

I am a big baby so I of course pull over. If its not too baad I will keep driving but I am pretty bad I need to see the road or i pull over.

For me especially if my kids with me I would rather pull over for awhile bfore I go back to the road.I just want make sure we are all safe.

it is better to pull over if you have a long drive, but if its a short drive to your destination, better get to your place as soon as possible, it is better to enjoy rain fro myour than while driving

Cj I almost always pull over. Especially if it is dusk or night time. I just do not see well in the rain and night time any more. I look for a place to pull over without hazards.

I do not have any experience of driving car during sudden caught in nrains, however, had an experience with my son, he uses wipers and keeps driving, so taht we are never caught and reach destination safely. But, once many yrs back, we started our scooter, my wife being on penion, it just dizzled, we thought, we will reach our house (12 Kms away), but on the way, passing through country area, it became haevy down-pour, we were fully drenched from top to bottom. I thanked my vehicle, which brought us safely. It was a life time experience. have a nice time.

I keep driving without my flashers on. I find those flashers distracting, especially on the interstate. I do drive much slower though, sometimes as slow as 30 or 35. When I see flashers, I don't know if someone is driving slow or if someone has had a wreck.
