Handicap parking spot

Yes, it pisses me off too!

When I see this I usually GLARE at the person to let them know that I know what they're doing. They waddle along with their fat a$$es seemingly PROUD that they "beat the system."

I've often considered reporting them, but chances are the management of the mall or store would rather they park illegally than bypass their mall or store. That's a pity. People don't give a flying****.

When I park at a shopping center or mall, I PURPOSELY park as far from the entrance as possible. I even did that today during a driving rain. The reason? The exercise is good for me, and chances are less people will park near my car, lessening the risk of fender-benders.

Memo to self: Someday, RJ, YOU might need that handicapped parking place. And MAYBE if you keep doing what you do others will get the idea ... but I doubt it. People are too******* selfish. (C) 2008 RJScott

They have pretty steep fines for parking in a handicapped spot without the proper tag or other identification here in Florida. My husband has a handicapped tag on his vehicle because he has severe arthritis and can't walk long distances. Sometimes he appears to have nothing wrong with him but he would be in pain if he parked far away. When I see someone illegally parked in a handicapped space I always hope that a cop comes by and writes them a big ticket.

If I happened to see someone parked in the handicap spot and they don't have plates, sticker, or the required handicap, I would go up to the service desk at the store and let them know the license plate number of the car and to annouce it over the intercom the owner of said car needs to move it.

Or I could be really mean and call a tow truck.
