Frustrating realizations: How ironic life can be?

Basically all that happened to me before when I when it came to guys. There was always some reason as to why things werent going to work out until one day things finally did. I'm happy to say that I actually found love now! Might've taken awhile but its worth it even if you go through all of the above said. Once it actually happens and you get that person.. there's nothing you wont do to keep them in your life.

Yeah,love can be ironic.I've experience some of the situations there.
Love can be quite confused,sometimes I didn't even know if I still have the instinct to love,I didn't even know what's love.
Now I still can't define love.Who can define love actually?

I have had something like those listed happen to me. I am luck, mine ended very happily.

When my first marriage was falling apart the man that was best friends with my ex-husband tried, with no success, to get my ex to realize what he was about to lose (me & the kids). When my ex invited another woman into our bed it was his friend that helped me get and apartment for my kids and I. He helped me find a job and get on my feet as a single mom. He confessed to me that he had loved me for some time, and hated to see all I was going through.

I couldn't even think of getting into a relationship on the tail end of my marriage failing. It was much too soon, and he understood this. He became a very good friend to me and was amazing when he was with my kids. When my divorce turned into a nightmare, he was there to listen and comfort, but never tried to cross the friendship line.

Finally, a year after my divorce (almost 2 years after I seperated from my ex), I began to look at this man in a different light. He had stood with me through one of the hardest things I had ever been through and was still there at the end of it all. Most people would, and had, turned and run the other way.

Three years after we began dating we got married. We have now been married for 6 years. He is my very best friend, and I am his. It has also taught me that not all things that start off with bad timing have to be lost. If love is there, and true, it can overcome whatever obstacles stand in the way.
