how do care your pets?

I don't have any pets now. My dogs died last year. But when they were alive I took care of them by making sure that they got plenty of exercise. I always kept fresh water in their bowls and put them on a healthy diet. I brushed them daily and gave them a bath once a week and they were given their vaccinations on time. I also gave them TLC (tender loving care). One thing that saddens me about some pet owners is that they lock up their pets the whole day inside their homes when they go off to work.
