Cars Left On The Side Of The Road  | |  It is a side day when motorists run out of gas on the side of the road and have to leave their vehicle there untill they have enough money to put more gas in it.In most instances drivers are just trying to squeeze every mile out of their car that they canh.Triple AAA has stated that there has been a 14 percent increase in the amount of calls for tow trucks because of drivers running out of gas. I would really say that something has to change or we are going to be in another depression.

Electric cars run too, but we do not see many of them just because they are not as fast and need to be recharged! We need to find better alternatives than the ones we are using now! Whatever happened to solar power?

It is true that the price of fuel has gone out of control. However, it is more about speculation greed than anything else. Speculators have seized on every fear out there to drive up the prices. Then they cash in. I would expect the prices will remain high for the summer season before they start to go down again in the fall. Governments are going to be under pressure to do something.

I agree, it is a sad day when you can't afford to put gas in your vehicle and are forced to leave it on the side of the road.
