how ready yoy are to cahnge yout job?

My job is depressing because we have to euthanize dogs all of the time. All of the happy moments that I had been looking forward to, such as assisting in delivering puppies, and seeing recovered animals go home, does not happen often enough. I only work on weekends, so I am part of the background clean-up crew. When a dog dies, we are the ones who take the paw print for the owners, and either put it in a coffin for the owners to take home, or save it for cremation.

I am considering either switching vet clinics to a place that will offer me more hours and more opportunity, or to possibly work at Books-A-Million, as I like books. I am the Boring Librarian type, so I do not think that I would tire of the job as soon as others might.

The jobs that I used to work outside of my home, killed me mentally. I didn't really mind the physical labor, because it kept me busy and in shape. The people I worked with drove me nuts though. They wouldn't do their job and they was constantly nosing in other people's business. I chose to work at home so I would not have to deal with them anymore.

hi if I had an opportunity to do so I would change my job in a moment and not ever want to get back there. But I dont think that another job will pay this well and we need what money I bring home to survive. There is no way for me around staying in this dead end job there.
